this car runs, stops, and drives flawlessly. the four speed manual transmission shifts nice and smooth. the 1.2 liter engine performs like it was new. the manual choke still works on this car and the automatic choke return still functions as it should. electrically, everything works as it should on the car. i still get 34-38mpg with this car. I have and would drive it anywhere. no shakes, rattles, squeaks, smoke, grinding, rotational noise, or anything else that would be out of the ordinary. it has 38, 942 original miles. I bought it with 24, 500 miles. i know for a fact it has been garage kept since 1981. in the 9 years I have owned it, I have done everything I could to preserve the originality of this unrestored car. nothing on this car has been adapted, cut, spliced, drilled, or modified.
